We are the oldest Company in the U.S. specializing in the Recycling, Buying and Selling of Chemical Plastics and Rubber, surplus, scrap, and by-product materials.


During the last forty years A.R.C. Materials has been working with major chemical producers like Dow Chemical, Union Carbide, Ashland Chemical, Wyandotte Chemicals, (now Bayer) and others in helping find markets for surplus and by-product chemicals.

Starting in 1959 in a small garage building in Detroit, Michigan and growing into a 10,000 sq. Ft. Processing plant in the middle 60's A.R.C. has helped all three of the Detroit automobile companies (Ford, Chrysler, and General Motors and their manufacturing divisions (A.C. Spark Plug, Guide Lamp, Ternstedt, etc.) dispose of their regrind plastic parts and surplus plastics and rubber.

Rubber producers such as B.F. Goodrich, Uniroyal and General Tire have also used the services of A.R.C Materials.


A.R.C. has sold and processed oils for refiners (ie: Marathon Oil, Sun Oil, and Ashland Oil).



Our experience includes representing a major PVC producer of Wire and Cable Compounds, as well as a large recycler of Polystyrene Resins.



In 1995 A.R.C Materials moved their offices to the sunny climate of Southern Florida.
